  • Having a meeting with the cool folk from @sbmktg – plotting yacht racing campaigns for 2009 and beyond. #
  • Vodafone Best Care Healthcheck email trying to tell me that it’s overseas calls pushing up my bill when it is actually data roaming charges. #
  • @Alfie wow I was 4 years early with hotspotted personally these days I like the wifi indicator tshirts #
  • Nothing better than a pub lunch and a chat about the state of yacht racing and sponsorship. #
  • Will be around Green Park between 3 and 5 today if anyone wants to catch up for a coffee. #
  • Upgrading @yachtbusiness site to Wordpress 2.7. Fingers crossed. #

  • Audi med cup 2009 dates announced. See @yachtbusiness tomorrow for details. #
  • Is going to unfollow anyone on twitter who repeats information without stopping to ask ‘is that actually compete bollocks?’ #
  • Have decided that social media is just media. In some cases worse. Some old media still checks facts before sending news into the universe. #
  • Traveller tip. Dusseldorf airport charges 1 euro for clear plastic bags to get your liquids through security. Seems pricey. #
  • Ishares cup dates announced. Kind of. Keep a lookout over the next day or so. #
  • Is done with boats for today. Happy though. Background all done for @darkbluebook – next week will be intense. #
  • Ok. So I love boats with sails, but ribs get cooler day by day #
  • Surprised that puma are not activating their Volvo ocean race sponsorship at boot.de – well they might be, but not that I can see so far. #
  • Spotted. A yache with manufacturer sponsorship livery. Dufour getting the message. Racing sells crusing boats. #
  • Ysa yacht design ‘black pearl’ made entirely of black carbon fibre. Beautiful, but must be as slippery as anything when wet. #
  • Boot.de sailing hall has more racing yachts than London including the enigma 34 and a canting keel sport boat #
  • Pretty impressived to see the stp65 ‘container’ out of the water in hall 17 of boot.de #
  • Well there may be a recession and there may not be many visitors right now, but anyone who says this is a poor industry is deluded. #
  • Is off to Boot.de with @yachtbusiness and @darkbluebook. Will be interesting to compare to recent Paris and London shows. #
