  • Rail replacement bus from Richmond to clapham takes longer than the normal bus. London creaks along these days. 2012 is going to be hell. #

  • Amazon’s mobile site is pretty cool. Just read about a book in sports pro magazine and ordered it before the train got to the next station. #
  • Blackberry 8110 with GPS and google maps rocks. Found address in the middle of londons back streets, even gave directions. #
  • On my way to an Australia day event at a new members club in the city. Don’t know much about it yet. #
  • Finally got around to updating the Pilote Media website, though still to add portfolio. #
  • Australia Day nearly over in Oz. Just beginning in the UK. #

  • Is out with Lefti. A different venue than our usual Richmond forays. Early. Empty. But we beat the queues for food. #
  • Wow, http://beta.Cloudo.com is very interesting. A desktop that runs in a browser. Kinda slow to set up, but looks great. #
  • Made it to the othe hall. The one with engines. Not so busy. Nice to look at. . . But tough sell. #
  • Gill stand features poster of quantum racing tp52 world champion team. Gear manufacturers making the most of racing relationships. #
  • Marlow has a branded musto skiff on the stand. Video is generic and features competitors. #
  • Dufour goes one better with photos of boats in racing livery and race results on performance banner. A manufacturer who cares about racing? #
  • X yachts x34 nod to racing with hull saying gamble winter series winner 2007 2008 #
  • Henri Lloyd stand a fantastic example of how to use yacht racing for marketing purposes. #
  • Helly Hansen stand has good activation of Volvo ocean race sponsorship. Licensed merchandise and a competition. #
  • Despite the credit crunch, the London boat show at midday on Friday is pretty busy. At least the sailing hall is. #
  • Creating twitter account on a blackberry doesn’t work very well. Not a great introduction for a new user, will have to evangelise some more #
