Bio

The early years of my life were spent on the Mornington Peninsula, a narrow strip of land separating the bays of Port Phillip and Westernport south of Melbourne, Australia. Mount Eliza was, and still is, a leafy enclave of well to do folk nestled next to the sea. I could spend pages going into the suburban weirdness that is Mount Eliza, but some of its other local sons who formed the band Australian Crawl, do it more succinctly in the lyrics to songs like ‘Boys Light Up‘.

I attended Mount Eliza Primary school and later Mount Eliza High (which was subsequently renamed to blur the distinction between high schools and technical colleges). For what happened after that – choose a chapter below:
